Positively Pile

We tried.

Last week we decided to make yummy carmel apples.  The girls wanted to take a few to people our ward so we made some extra.  "Great idea", I thought.  We've been learning about service all month in primary, so lets serve others, right?  By the time we were finished it was a little too late for the delivery so we decided to take them the next day after the girls got home from school.  Bad idea. Something went wrong, and all the carmel had slid down to the bottom of the apples and onto the wax paper.  Hmmm. . . I hate when stuff like that happens.  I guess we'll just need to make more!  Anyway here are a few pictures of our good intentions gone bad! 

 

 

Wishes

There are some of us that dream for things that we never will have.  Long thin legs, blue eyes, a husband who enjoys shopping . . . just to name a few on my long list.  Over the past year or so, i have had my eyes opened to the blogging world.  Man, I was really missing out.  I don't know what I ever did before - without these wonderful, informative, inspirational sites to consume hours upon hours of my busy life.  No wonder I'm not getting anything productive done!  Anyway, I have come to admire those that can journal in such a beautiful & creative way.  This is another "never will have" item on my list.  No, no - - creative writing or captivating journalism have never and will never be on my list of extrordinary abilities.  Regardless, I hope I capture my thoughts, feelings, and our daily happenings in a way that will show you the pile family, such as we are . . .
